A number of Canadian awards and honours are available specifically for theoretical and/or computational chemists, such as the following from the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC)

In addition, the CATC also manages a number of awards for both researchers and students, as detailed below.

CATC Honourary Awards

The CATC Honourary Lectureship is bestowed upon researchers who have made significant contributions in theoretical/computational chemistry and/or to the Canadian theoretical and computational chemistry community. Award recipients are invited to present a lecture at the Canadian Symposium on Theoretical and Computational Chemistry.

CATC-Sponsored Student Awards

To support the younger generation with interests in theoretical/computational chemistry, the CATC sponsors monetary awards in both the oral and poster categories for student presentations at conferences. These presentations usually showcase the results from undergraduate thesis work. Clicking on a specific year shows the award winners for that year.
